B&B Scurcola Marsicana Via del Castello 4

The bed and breakfast "Via del Castello, 4" is located in a Sixteenth Century palace, recently restored. It's in the old center of this nice medieval village, in a panoramic position nearby the castle.
We are in the heart of Abruzzo mountains, Marsica region, among Mount Velino (2.489 meters, behind the village), the National Park of Abruzzo and Simbruini mountains
It's only one hour from Rome, and it's 3 km from motorway A25 exit "Magliano de' Marsi"; there's also a railway station "Scurcola" on the way Roma-Pescara.
We offer an organic breakfast with cereal, local honey and mountain jams, fruit yogurts and cheese (if available), homemade cakes, and different kinds of teas and coffees. Organic local products are also on sale.
We have here 3 rooms. One room have it's own bathroom, the other two share a common bathroom. The restoration work was in 2005, and it's a conservative one, to bring out the history of the ancient building and the style and the way of life of old traditional Abruzzo's houses (for example the mattresses are made of wool, as in the sheperd's tradition), but without loosing confort.
